Responsibilities include:
• Maintain a linux server environment of approximately 45 servers
• Support day to day operations
• Document technical procedures
• Performance optimization and monitoring
• SAN management and support
• On call for after hours support

Successful Candidate Profile includes:
• DEC in Information Technology
• 3-4 years as Linux Sysadmin - RHEL 3,4,5
• Extensive knowledge of shell scripting with ksh and bash
• Experience with Apache/tomcat web servers
• Experience with other Open Source products in an enterprise environment: Nagios, Samba, SVN and others
• Oracle on Linux, an asset
• San storage and network backup knowledge a plus
• Experience with EMC networker
• Knowledge of server architecture and components
• Experience with redhat cluster and other clustering technologies
